Lolita Logic:
Sex Lies and How a World Famous Teenage Porn Queen and I Destroyed Porn, Almost
One of the most controversial, extraordinary, and newsworthy events of the 1980s this true crime memoir is a dramatic and tragic rollercoaster narrative nonfiction that reads like a novel.
The year was 1986. Ronald Reagan’s “family values” campaign was in full swing. Caught in the middle of what was really a war on pornography, I became one of the enemies.
I didn’t to want to get back into porn. Having worked in the porn industry for my father as a teenager left me with a repulsion to pornography in general. But then, almost by accident, I met and fell in love with the world’s most famous porn star.
As our relationship blossomed, I encouraged her attempt to leave the industry. As we found we had more in common, I realized the true predatory nature of the only career she’d ever known. That’s when the idea of bringing down the entire porn industry was hatched.
This is the non-erotic story of that surprising, sometimes violent, and emotionally thrilling journey.
